This is the 4th set in a series of 5 depicting the traditional pageantry of the First Christmas
Allison, Rainbow and Lizzy. My first inclination was to make them angels. They were the type of cute little girls who would grow up to be beautiful, successful women. At the mere suggestion, however, they scrunched up their noses and squelched that idea real quick. With the furry costumes the Ladies Aide were working on, they had their hearts set on being sheep. So, the shepherd-boys instructed the sheep-girls how to act like a convincing sheep and all went well. But, that’s not the end of the story. Allison eventually married Casey (one of the shepherd boys) and they bought a small farm to raise . . . you guessed it . . . sheep!
